The Evolution of Animation

          Animation in our current world has evolved into something we see everyday. One of the biggest feats in this area has been quite recent. The creation and increasing popularity of 3-D has become one of the most important breakthroughs in animation. Currently, animations are rarely hand drawn. Animated shows also have lower budgets which is said to contribute to the decreasing plotline quality of many animated shows.

      Although storyline quality may have declined in some cases, the actual pixel and animation quality has increased. Although they may not be 3-D, most animated shows are rendered in 3-D. Animators have also used cell shading to give the animations a more realistic look.
